You’re all alone in this world. Everyone acts in their own self interest.

There is no perfect best friend who drops everything and comes over when you need them. They won’t come over and bring you soup when you’re sick unless it’s convenient for them. They won’t tell by the way you’re texting something is horribly wrong and rush over with your favorite movies.

There is no perfect family. Hell, the divorce rate is up to over 60%. Let’s be realistic people, you’re never going to have a perfect family, never going to have someone who loves you wholely, never going to have someone who puts you before themselves. Another thing that is a fiction of your imagination from all the bullshit movies you watch.

There will be good days, sure. Where someone will do something nice or make you believe that they’re there, but they all leave.
